Cam McGrone spent nearly all of 2018 on the sideline.
At the time, he was a true freshman linebacker on a team that boasted two upperclassman starters at inside linebacker — including All-American Devin Bush Jr.
So instead of playing, McGrone sat on the bench. But he didn't bemoan his situation. McGrone took every opportunity to watch Bush and learn from him.
