They won’t be in the College Football Playoff for the first time in four years, but the Michigan Wolverines will still participate in postseason play. Announced on Sunday afternoon, the maize and blue will play against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
Kickoff for the game is set for noon EST. The game is played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, which is the home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
This bowl game is a rematch of last year’s CFP semifinal matchup in the Rose Bowl. The Wolverines won that game, 27-20, in overtime to go to the National Championship and eventually defeat Washington.
