Michigan football's offense needs something. Probably more than one something.
What those things are, exactly, are always up for debate. But few can argue the fact that Jim Harbaugh's attack needs as much speed and juice as it can find.
And Saturday night in South Bend, Ind., there was one guy on the entire team that showed those traits best when he touched the football: Kick returner Ambry Thomas.
Thomas, a sophomore return man/reserve corner, was open about his desire to help out offensively a year ago.
