It appears Ambry Thomas will be back with Michigan football for his senior season.
The Wolverines defensive back signaled his return Saturday in an Instagram post that read, “Ain’t this what they have been waiting for…You ready??”
The Detroit native also included the hashtag addendum, #lastride.
A Michigan spokesperson did not return a message seeking confirmation of Thomas’ decision.
Despite a bout with colitis that left him hospitalized last summer, Thomas appeared in all 13 games and contributed 38 tackles, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries this season for the Wolverines (9-4).
