Michigan football's Aidan Hutchinson to have surgery on 'fracture' in his leg

Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh opened his Monday news conference by announcing that defensive lineman Aidan Hutchinson will need surgery after suffering a leg injury during the loss at Indiana on Saturday.

Hutchinson suffered a "fracture," according to Harbaugh. The coach did not give any indication on how long Hutchinson will be out. It is also unknown when Hutchinson will have the surgery.

Hutchinson and fellow starting defensive end Kwity Paye both suffered injuries during the 38-21 loss on Saturday in Bloomington, Indiana. After his injury, Hutchinson was shown on TV, in street clothes watching the game with his family in the stands.
