When Michigan football assistant coach Chris Partridge is doing the recruiting, especially in the state of New Jersey, things tend to go well for the Wolverines.
And so far, that is proving to be the case with Jordan Morant, the No. 1 safety in the 2020 class according to the 247 rankings. He ranks 47th overall in the class according to 247, even though he ranks 10th among safeties and 150th overall in the 247 composite rankings.
Morant, who stands 5-foot-11 and is 220 pounds, announced his top five Friday and put Michigan football among them along with Penn State, Ohio State, USC and Texas A&M.
