It appears that Michigan football is very sensitive about losing defensive assistants to Ohio State and other Big Ten East rivals and if you don’t believe it, just look at the contract of new assistant coach Anthony Campanile.
Campanile, who came to Michigan football from Boston College, where he was co-defensive coordinator, agreed to a two-year contract with the Wolverines according to Nick Baumgardner of the Detroit Free Press. But when you dig a little deeper into the contract, it reveals some very interesting deals about Campanile’s ability to pursue other positions.
