Michigan Football: Wolverines’ Outlook Going Into Week 7

Michigan football’s 38-0 domination of Northwestern gave its stock a huge boost going into Week 7 of the college football season. In just six weeks, the Wolverines have gone from unranked to a borderline top-10 team.

Michigan moved seven spots to No. 14 in the Coaches Poll. In the AP Poll, the Wolverines moved up six spots to No. 12. This marks the first time since Week 3 of 2013 that Michigan has been ranked in the top 15 of the AP Poll. With a victory over No. 7 Michigan State in Week 7, the Wolverines could easily be a top-10 team.
