It has been well documented that the Michigan football program has focused its recruiting efforts on 2020 and beyond and so far, that shift has been a successful one.
Michigan football hosted a bunch of 2020 and 2021 recruits in Ann Arbor last weekend and one the guys in attendance was four-star wide receiver from 2020, A.J. Henning. Henning was probably the most high-profile recruit in attendance, as the No. 51 overall player for 2020 and the eighth-ranked wide receiver according to 247 sports.
Early on, Michigan football didn’t seem to have much of a shot with Henning, however, after he released his top 10 with the Wolverines included, that thinking changed a little.
