A lot of Michigan football fans have called for Don Brown to adjust his scheme after last season’s 62-point debacle at the hands of Ohio State.
To his credit, Brown said he won’t change his ways. Sure, he will make some adjustments, but he believes in man coverage, just as he believes in applying pressure on the quarterback.
So as long as Brown as the defensive coordinator of Michigan football, defensive backs that have man-to-man cover skills are going to be a priority. And isn’t adding better players to the backend the best way to improve the Wolverines pass defense?
