It’s not a big secret that Michigan football has a solid relationship with the high school football program at West Bloomfield. At the very least, it’s clear that former Wolverine Ron Bellamy is churning out players worthy of the Wolverines attention.
Michigan football added Makari Paige and Cornell Wheeler from West Bloomfield in the 2020 class and four-star running back Donovan Edwards is clearly a top target in the 2021 class.
At one time, Michigan was viewed as the odds-on favorite to land Edwards, but now, with Ohio State making a push, it feels like things are much more up in the air.
