It’s clear that when it comes to the 2021 recruiting class, Michigan football has a chance to do some really good things especially with a number of elite prospects in the state.
One of those prospects is four-star running back Donovan Edwards, who is listed as the No. 3 running back in 2021 according to 247 sports composite rankings.
For a long time, Michigan football seemed like the favorite with Edwards, who is from West Bloomfield, Michigan and a program that just happens to be headed by a former Wolverine.
The Wolverines also added two of his teammates in 2020 in Makari Paige and Cornell Wheeler, so that has sort of given Michigan an in with Edwards, along with the fact that Ann Arbor is awfully close to where Edwards plays high school football.
