While things may not be going that well for Michigan football with one top in-state prospect in 2021, in terms of another, the Wolverines are looking as strong as ever.
The recruit that Michigan football seems to be losing traction with is Donovan Edwards, the No. 2 running back in 2021 according to the 247 composite rankings. At one time, he held nothing but Michigan crystal balls and those have started switching, which gives you the indication that people close to the story believe he’s going to the Buckeyes.
Hopefully, Michigan will have the chance to turn that around and with it still being around 10 months until signing day, even if Edwards commits soon to Ohio State, which is a possibility, seeing as the Buckeyes have been pushing other backs to commit, it doesn’t mean it will be over.
