The injuries are beginning to mount for Michigan football as head coach Jim Harbaugh's team begins Big Ten play Saturday against Maryland.
For the second consecutive week, U-M will be without No. 2 running back Donovan Edwards while he recovers from a leg injury. Edwards dropped out of U-M's win over Hawaii in Week 2 and was evaluated in the medical tent along the sideline. He never returned to the game and didn't suit up against Connecticut last week.
The Wolverines will also miss left guard Trevor Keegan with an undisclosed injury. Keegan got hurt in the first half of last week's win over UConn and spent the rest of the game on the sideline.
