Now that the assumed No. 3 running back, Kareem Walker has announced his transfer, Michigan Football has an opening in it’s running back platoon. Karan Higdon and Chris Evans will carry a majority of the load, serving as the No.1 and No. 2 backs respectively, but past years indicate that Harbaugh will use three backs.
The most obvious choice would be transfer walk-on, Berkley Edwards. Not only is he Braylon Edwards’ younger brother, but he has the experience edge on the rest of the running back candidates.
Berkley has already played for two schools before his transfer to Michigan (two seasons at Minnesota and one at Central Michigan).
