Michigan football is always ranked near the top and usually deservedly so. While they had a couple of bad weeks in the game against that team down south and then again against Florida in the bowl game, the Wolverines still remained in the top 25 in the final rankings.
In both the AP Top 25 and the Coaches Poll, the maize and blue ended up at No. 14. With that final ranking, Michigan is the second highest ranked Big Ten Team – Ohio State finished third in both polls.
On the bright side, Ohio State lost their quarterback and their backup quarterback and are now left with an untested transfer in Justin Fields.
