The 2018 NFL draft was an odd one when it comes to the number of Michigan football players selected. The only two players drafted were offensive tackle Mason Cole, who was taken in the third round by the Cardinals, and defensive tackle Maurice Hurt Jr., who was taken in the fifth round by the Raiders.
Having only two players drafted and none of them being in the first round is not usual for a program as historic and competitive like Michigan. This year, the Wolverines really lived up to the name and were drafted early and often.
