Michigan football is a 14 point favorite as it travels to Evanston to face a Wildcat team still licking its wounds after a two-touchdown loss to Duke and a three-point loss to Akron.
Northwestern began the season with high hopes; in 2017, they were 10-3, had finished second in the Big 10 West, and were invited to the Music City Bowl where they beat Kentucky 24-23. They played well in their opener against Purdue this season, and then the wheels seemed to come off.
Hopes are less high in Evanston this week, although new food options are available at Ryan field, most notably the Ancho Guacamole Burger, so the loss of Wildcat running back Jeremy Larkin, retired from football due to cervical stenosis, may hurt just a bit less.
