Everyone knows that Michigan football isn’t really forthcoming when it comes to injuries and that proved to be very true in the case of Michael Dwumfour.
Dwumfour, a senior defensive tackle that is expected to return next season because of a redshirt, was expected to play in the Citrus Bowl, even though he had some injury issues off and on throughout the 2019 season.
The 6-foot-2 defensive tackle didn’t make a huge impact this season as a result, posting nine tackles, 0.5 sacks and 1.5 tackles for loss. His best attribute is stuffing the run, which fans will note, didn’t go well against Ohio State.
