Things sometimes have a funny way of working out. When Kareem Walker came to Michigan football, he did so as the top running back recruit in the nation. When Chris Evans came, he was nothing more than a three star.
However, last season, it was Evans, not Walker that stepped forward for Michigan football. Walker, who struggled with grades, never got the on the field. Evans, on the other hand, averaged 7.0 yards a carry and is the presumed starter heading into 2017.
Yet, Walker is back and ready to go this season. The question is, with a deep backfield, what kind of impact can he make?
