Michigan Football: What College Football Playoff rankings mean for UM

While the College Football Playoff rankings probably don’t have a ton of meaning for two-loss Michigan football, but it’s still interesting to take a look at what it could mean.

Following a 44-10 win over Michigan State last Saturday, the Wolverines moved up to No. 12 in the AP and coaches polls, but in the College Football Playoff rankings, Michigan football moved up only one spot to No. 13.
