COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Free Press sports writer Orion Sang rates No. 15 Michigan football on a scale of 1 to 10 after a 38-7 win at Maryland:
Offense: 6
Michigan's offense had a somewhat uneven performance. It scored 31 points, but had a few three-and-outs and finished with 331 total yards The run game wasn't able to build on last week's success against Notre Dame, with 155 yards and an average of 4.6 yards per carry. The pass game was at times inconsistent, with a few errant throws from quarterback Shea Patterson, but also featured a couple of explosive plays (including a 29-yard completion to tight end Sean McKeon on a wheel route).
