Free Press sports writers share their predictions for the Michigan football game against Illinois on Saturday in Ann Arbor (noon, ABC):
Tony Garcia
Illinois is just a B-minus version of Michigan. Solid defense, fantastic running game, control the clock, don't turn it over, limit possessions, let your quarterback make plays when necessary. The problem is, the Wolverines go up against this style of play, on both sides of the ball, every week in practice and the Illini are fading fast. While Illinois will be the first team to score more than three points in the second half in the past six weeks, Michigan keeps rolling.
