David Reese seemed like a pretty good get when he committed to Michigan football after a stellar season at Farmington High School back in 2015.
He’d forced four fumbles, sacked opposing quarterbacks five times, made 138 tackles, and was a solid prospect as a linebacker. He would have stuck with his commitment to Michigan football, had he been able to enroll early, but that wasn’t in the cards at the time, so off he went to Gainesville.
Reese had an impressive freshman season at Florida, racking up 11 tackles at South Carolina, 12 tackles against LSU and a defensive PAT against Alabama on his way to being named Freshman All-SEC by Gridiron Now.
