A lot is going on here.
The Michigan football defense is a mess, the offense has left a ton of points on the field, and there have been timely penalties and issues.
The Wolverines are down 24-19 and extremely fortunate that the margin is only five.
Here are my observations from the first half against Ohio State:
Final flurry
Michigan got the ball back down 21-6 with 3:14 to go in the half. Things were looking disastrous for the Wolverines.
A lot happened.
Shea Patterson drove Michigan down the field before Nico Collins made an incredible 23-yard catch on a terrific individual effort to get Michigan back within eight in the final minute.
