Ty Law played in 36 games for Michigan football. He amassed 164 tackles and eight interceptions. In 1994, Law became an All-American defensive back. Not to mention he was twice named All-Big Ten. Coaches and media started to take notice.
Law made it difficult on receivers and quarterbacks alike. He was a shutdown corner who did his job exceptionally well. Law was fast and quick side to side. He also was not afraid to help out against the run or blitz from the corner. He was the total package.
Law left Michigan football after his junior season and was selected in the first round by the New England Patriots.
