Is there a position within the Michigan football program that’s had more talent roll through than at running back? Really. Has there?
The Wolverines have been blessed in the past with tremendous players at pretty much every position. We drool over Tom Brady and the long list of quarterback greats, as well as players like Braylon Edwards and Desmond Howard at wide receiver.
The mean big-bodies get lots of love in the trenches, and hard-hitting defenders like Lamarr Woodley and Erick Anderson will forever be embedded in the lure of Michigan football.
Despite being able to look across every position and point out at least of handful of players who pop off the page, you could make a good argument that the running backs are not to be topped.
