It was one of Michigan football‘s ugliest games of the season, but the team held on.
Indiana came back from a 24-16 halftime deficit and made it a game, requiring Michigan to tie it up at the last second and send it into overtime. With two easy touchdowns in Michigan’s overtime drives, the Wolverines’ defense finally managed to stop the rolling Hoosiers on fourth down to win the game.
It wasn’t pretty, but the Wolverines kept their hopes of a Big Ten Championship alive.
Indiana has a reputation for being the “chaos team” in the Big Ten.
