PARIS, France -- It did not take long for the Michigan football team to head straight for the city.
Hours after landing at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris Friday morning, in two separate waves of red-eye flights from Detroit, players retrieved their bags and headed straight for the bus.
That bus, though, made a few pitstops along the way to the team hotel.
"Looking forward to all parts of it," Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh told reporters Friday at the team hotel. "A cultural trip. It's already off to a great start."
Players and coaches -- Harbaugh included -- took in a view of the Eiffel Tower from historical landmark Trocadero, and visited the Arc de Triomphe.
