Donovan Edwards, one of the most sought-after football recruits in the country, walked slowly toward the silver coffin.
His grandfather, Charlie Primas Jr., died on Jan.12 at the age of 87.
Donovan stood in front of the coffin Tuesday morning, staring at his role model. One of the greatest athletes in Detroit history, Primas was a Harlem Globetrotter, a member of the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame, and his name is still all over the record books at Wayne State.
