If you look at the list of players currently committed to Michigan football‘s 2017 recruiting class, you might notice that one-third of them are either running backs or fullbacks.
The Wolverines have pledges from running backs O’Maury Samuels, A.J. Dillon and Kurt Taylor, as well as fullback/running back Chase Lasater. It’s a good batch of recruits to have in the backfield, but Michigan apparently hasn’t settled on the position.
Four-star running back/fullback Sione Heimuli-Lund (Salt Lake City) is a current commit to Stanford, and has been since November of last year. He stands at 6-foot, 220 pounds and runs with surprising quickness.
