We’re just two days away from Michigan Football‘s season opener, and there’s been no official announcement of who will start at the WILL linebacker position. Mike McCray was the starting WILL linebacker for two seasons before exhausting his eligibility, and now it appears to be a two man race to replace him.
Sam Dodge of Maize N Brew has confirmed that sophomore Josh Ross and junior Devin Gil are sharing time with the first team defense at the WILL spot. We saw a little bit of action from both players last season, but nothing substantial.
