Ole Miss formally objected to Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson's NCAA waiver request for immediate transfer eligibility in 2018.

And while Patterson's attorney, Thomas Mars, wholeheartedly disagrees with the school's decision to do so, he doesn't believe it'll have "any influence on the NCAA's (final decision)" about whether or not the quarterback will be able to suit up for the Wolverines this fall.
