The Michigan football team wasn’t flawless against the SMU Mustangs Saturday at the Big House, but the Wolverines still made enough big plays to win, going away.
Led by quarterback Shea Patterson and wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones, Michigan football score more than 40 points for the second straight week, as the Wolverines downed the Mustangs 45-20.
For must of the first half, the score was tied at 0-0 until Ben Mason scored from one-yard out on a 4th-and-goal midway through the second quarter. That gave Michigan a 7-0 lead but soon, SMU tied the score with a long touchdown pass.
