As spring practice is set to start Monday, Michigan football’s staff is experiencing yet another shakeup.
A source confirmed to the Free Press that the team has been informed two recent hires, Ron Bellamy and George Helow, will now oversee different position groups.
Bellamy, initially assigned to the receivers, will coach the safeties — the gourp Helow presided over since he came to Michigan on Jan. 19. Helow, in turn, will move over to supervise the linebackers, filling the vacancy left by Brian Jean-Mary, who left for Tennessee last week. 247 Sports.com first reported the news.
