It’s been a really good week for the future of Michigan football‘s offense. On Tuesday, four-star offensive tackle Jaylen Mayfield committed to the Wolverines. Then on Saturday, another four-star tackle, Ryan Hayes, chose Michigan.
Both have been getting praise for their versatility, but it’s especially true for Hayes, who also has also contributed as a tight end and defensive end at Traverse City West (Michigan). He’s even been the punter at times.
247Sports, ESPN, Scout and Rivals all list Hayes as an offensive tackle, although Scout mentions in its evaluation that Hayes projects as a tight end at the next level.
