Free Press sports writers Rainer Sabin and Orion Sang break down Michigan football after spring practices:
Sang: Michigan wrapped up spring ball on April 17 — and without too much fanfare. The team’s 15th and final practice took place at Michigan Stadium and was not televised or open to the general public, so there are still plenty of unanswered questions, especially on defense. What did you personally want to find out about this team the most during the spring?
Sabin: Who is going to be the quarterback? Right now, it does look like Cade McNamara has the inside track coming out of spring practice.
