It was a heated battle in fall camp between Michigan kickers Jake Moody and Quinn Nordin. That competition continued into the 2019 season, and now the starter has been decided.
Both of them.
That’s right — both Moody and Nordin are Michigan’s starting kickers. That is, at least, according to special teams coach Chris Partridge, who spoke with the media on Wednesday afternoon.
“They’re two starting kickers, and they’re gonna go,” Partridge said. “Whoever’s drive it is is gonna kick.
“As of now, we have two starting kickers. Don’t over-complicate it. And whoever’s drive it is will kick.
