Michigan Football Redshirt tracker: Northwestern

We’ve been waiting all season for freshman quarterback Jadyn Davis to get an opportunity under center. While he finally saw the field for the very first time, his first snap was overshadowed by a 20-yard touchdown run from Tavierre Dunlap. Davis never got another chance to show what he can do, as Northwestern’s next drive took up the rest of the clock.

Here’s who’s had a chance to play as a true freshman this season for the Wolverines. An asterisk (*) indicates they saw playing time against Northwestern:

  • QB Jadyn Davis (1 game)*
  • RB Micah Ka’apana (1 game)*
  • RB Jordan Marshall (3 games)*
  • WR Channing Goodwin (2 games)*
  • OL Andrew Sprague (3 games)*
  • OL Jake Guarnera (4 games)
  • TE Hogan Hansen (8 games)*
  • LB Cole Sullivan (10 games)*
  • Edge Dominic Nichols (4 games)
  • DL Manuel Beigel (1 game)
  • DB Mason Curtis (7 games)*
  • DB Jo’ziah Edmond (7 games)*
  • DB Jacob Oden (3 games)

Marshall had a huge 63-yard kick return to Northwestern’s 20-yard line, along with his first rush attempts as a Wolverines.
