One of Michigan’s biggest areas of need is at the wide receiver position. Four-star recruit Brad Hawkins will help bring some needed depth in 2016. The only current receivers on the Michigan roster with a lot of big game experience are Amara Darboh and Jehu Chesson. Both have two years of eligibility left, but Michigan needs more receivers in the pipeline. They added Brian Cole and Grant Perry in the 2015 class, but Hawkins has the potential to be better than both of them.
At 6-foot-1, 194 pounds Hawkins has solid size for the position. He has great hands and body control which allows him to win most one-on-one battles with opposing defensive backs.
