With the NCAA opening up a second, earlier official visit period in June for senior prospects last year, the landscape of summer recruiting has completely changed.
Many prospects heading into their senior seasons have been recruited by schools for over two full calendar years. Many have also taken multiple visits to the college programs they are heavily considering.
This early official visit period has led to more and more verbal commitments as recruits and their families become exhausted of the process.
For Michigan football, the story is no different. The Wolverines are in a strong position with several top targets, many of whom will be officially visiting campus this month.
