The preseason Amway/USA Today Coaches Poll is out, and it shows Michigan football sitting at No. 9 to start the season. It’s a notable improvement compared to various power rankings that have been unveiled this offseason.
The poll, which is derived from 65 coaches at the Bowl Subdivision level, is an apparent indication that coaches are either ignoring the talk about the Wolverines being too young and inexperienced, or they’re simply just not listening to it.
Either way, when stacked against power rankings from publications like CBS Sports and ESPN, there is a very evident disagreement.
