Football season is almost here! And today is a reflection of that fact with the preseason Amway Coaches Poll being released.
A handful of Michigan’s opponents made the Top 25, including Ohio State (No. 5), Notre Dame (No. 9), Penn State (No. 14), Wisconsin (No. 17), Iowa (No. 19), and Michigan State (No. 20).
The top 2, unsurprisingly, are Clemson and Alabama, with Georgia and Oklahoma rounding out the top four.
It really hasn’t mattered what year it is or who’s on the roster during Jim Harbaugh’s tenure at Michigan, the team is usually ranked high to start the season, and this year follows that trend.
