When Michigan football ended spring practices and paused for the summer, quarterbacks coach Ben McDaniels made sure to leave his position group with a message: No steps backwards.
McDaniels, in his first season coaching the group, didn't want his quarterbacks to show up to fall camp rusty.
So far, so good.
"I didn’t want to take two days to kick the dust off or anything like that," McDaniels said Wednesday.
