Michigan football appears to be adding another quarterback to its already filled quarterback room. This time via a graduate transfer.
Former Illinois quarterback Jeff George Jr., who announced plans to leave Illinois as a graduate transfer either this year, tweeted out a semi-confirmation that he plans to head to Michigan this year on Tuesday.
He later confirmed the news to Rivals.com, explaining his plans to head to Michigan as long as his graduate school application is accepted.
George did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Free Press. At this time it's unclear if George, who would have two years of immediate eligibility remaining, will be on scholarship at U-M this fall or will be with the team as a walk-on.
