MADISON, Wis. — The Dylan McCaffrey era may have just begun.
In the midst of a beatdown at No. 14 Wisconsin, No. 10 Michigan football swapped its starting and backup quarterbacks.
McCaffrey entered the game for Shea Patterson on the Wolverines' final possession of the first half, after Patterson threw an incomplete deep ball on first down. McCaffrey was the quarterback on the ensuing two plays — and then took the field as Michigan's quarterback when the second half opened, as well.
