Michigan football quarterback Cade McNamara appears to have had surgery.
The senior captain took to social media Wednesday morning to share his latest health update, when he posted a picture on his Instagram story from a hospital bed holding his thumb up with a caption "Here we go!"
U-M would not comment on the matter and coach Jim Harbaugh, who last spoke with media Monday, has not updated McNamara's health status in several weeks.
The 6-foot-1 Reno, Nevada, native suffered a leg injury late in the first half of Michigan's Week 3 game against Connecticut when he took a hit below the waist and has not taken the field since.
