Mike Zordich remains the tenured coach in the Michigan football secondary. He will, again, be working with the CB’s as he has done since he came here with Jim Harbaugh at the beginning of this regime.
The safety coach arrived last season. Brian Smith replaced Greg Jackson, who went to the Dallas Cowboys, where he can help welcome a familiar face, Jourdan Lewis. Smith came from the NFL Eagles, where he was an asst. LB coach in 2015.
Michigan football lost all 4 starters in the secondary from last year, all 5 if you include Jabrill Peppers and the Viper position.
