Michigan football players hopeful Chase Winovich plays at Ohio State

Shea Patterson lives with Chase Winovich.

His knowledge of that subject is about as high as it gets on this team.

"You'd have to kill him to take him out," Michigan football's quarterback said about the Wolverines' injured defensive end. "I'm not sure on the progress yet, but he's a tough guy.

"I've talked to him. He says he's feeling better. I'd assume he'd play but you never know the severity of it. Knowing him, I think he'll play."

No one at Michigan has made any firm comments one way or another about Winovich's availability for U-M's game at Ohio State on Saturday.
