Michigan football parents write letter to Big Ten, demand football be played

Parents of Michigan football players have written a letter to Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren and university president Mark Schlissel with a list of demands — including that college football be played this fall.

The group of parents have joined a letter-writing campaign that encompasses parents of football players at Iowa, Nebraska, Ohio State and Penn State and is the latest last-ditch effort to resuscitate the fall college football season after the Big Ten postponed all fall sports last Tuesday.

"This communication is in response to the cancellation of the 2020 Big Ten football season," the letter states.
